Once upon a time when I was living in Europe, I set off from France to the Netherlands and spent a week in a caravan (in the snow❄️!), every day learning with gypsy guitarist Lollo Meier. Later that year I played in his band at the OzManouche Festival back in Australia.. Not only was it a very special gig musically, but Lollo’s warm and humble nature left a lasting impression on us all, and we are honoured to have him back at this year’s festival in November.
