I’ve been so lucky to have learned with so many incredible musicians who shaped the way I play, especially my ‘La Pompe’ (gypsy jazz swing) feel. When I lived in Paris 🇫🇷 I sought out rhythm specialists who were playing in the bands of legends like Angelo Debarre, Tchavolo Schmitt, Stochelo Rosenberg, Adrien Moignard etc. A huge thanks to these French guys for sharing their wisdom and shaping me into the player I am today - Samy Daussat, Mathieu Chatelain, Romain Vuillemin and David Gastine - I’m forever grateful!!!
