I Posted my first guitar goal of 2020 in the comments!! Who else has some music/guitar goals for 2020? “They” say writing things down with pen and paper promotes memory recall..improves your thought process..helps with etc etc.. [FOR SURE a big chunk of the research into this area was done by pen companies haha..but I’m totally down with all that pen/paper stuff ☺️] Some periods I enjoy just going with the flow of what’s on my plate..and some periods I get pretty excited about making a some big leaps forward. And during these times each morning I’ll sit down with a cuppa, review my goals and write down an action I can take that day to move a step closer..committing to this daily (well, weekdays at least) is so simple yet so effective....for me ;) Soooo..yea I know a social media comment isn’t exactly pen and paper...but it’s got to carry some weight, right?! I find it inspiring to hear what people working towards..So, if you’re keen, get clear and let me know in the comments one thing (or all the things!) you’re working towards. I’m soooooo excited to announce something (keep reading!) ..BUT first of all at this time of year I have to give a big shoutout to all my beautiful guitar students - I love teaching music and guitar SO much, that I’ll often wrap up lessons with my hand on my heart and just bubble with warmth at the amazing exchange we had, and the thoughts of what’s arising on your musical journeys - the melodies in your solos, the rhythms, chords and songs conquered, and the songs written, performed and recorded 🎶
I’m so grateful you let me be a part of it!!! Sometimes I’ll challenge and push you a little bit, and I SO love that you rise up to meet me halfway, even if it’s outside your comfort zone;) It makes me proud!! And it’s a combination of witnessing your epic progress and these warm and fuzzies that I decided I just need to work with more and more people who want to play the guitar.
AND SO...I am launching The Guitar Path!! TGP is an online guitar learning experience, and my first program will be the Beginner Guitar Course - because I love to mould the new ones ;)) The course consists of Video Trainings, Live (online) Group Coaching/Q&A Sessions and a Private Facebook Community to help each other stay inspired and supported. I absolutely can’t wait!! I’ll be launching soon-ish and looking for some lovely people to join the first intake (at a founding members price..tba) We’ll be starting right back at the basics.
